Choosing a yearbook company is easier when you know what to ask. Use this checklist.
The ten points
- Who designs the book: your staff or the provider?
- How many staff hours will it take?
- Is there a page for every student?
- Is the full price list public?
- Who pays: the school or the students?
- What is the delivery date, and is it guaranteed before graduation?
- Is there a digital archive?
- Where is student data stored and is there a DPA?
- What happens when a deadline slips?
- Can you speak to a school that used them?
Red flags
- Prices only on request
- No stated delivery date
- No mention of who pays
- A design tool but no design service
How AerEthos answers
We design every page, ask for 20 minutes of kickoff and 30 minutes of sign-off, publish every price, let students pay directly and guarantee delivery at least a week before graduation. See the side-by-side on our compare page.
