Yearbook companies in Ireland, scored.
We took five yearbook companies, read their own public websites and scored them on the seven things a school actually needs. AerEthos is the only one that covers all seven.
7 of 7, against 1 at best.
Each company gets a point for every item it states on its own public site. No point means it is not stated. A provider that offers something tells schools about it.

Schools are moving to AerEthos
Over the past year, schools that were using other yearbook providers have moved to AerEthos. We are not in a race with these companies. A school that wants a premium book designed for it, with a date it can rely on, ends up with us.
Ask any provider these six questions
- Who designs the book, and how many hours will my staff spend?
- What is the price per student for each edition, in writing?
- Do students pay you directly, or does the school collect the money?
- What is the delivery date, and is it guaranteed before graduation?
- Where is student data stored, and is there a data processing agreement? Ours is on the DPA page.
- What happens if a deadline slips or a student's page needs a correction?
AerEthos answers all six on its public site. See pricing, the FAQ and the terms.
If you are a student or a parent
Your school chooses the provider, but you can ask for a good one. Ask your year head whether every student gets a full page, when the book arrives and what it costs. With AerEthos each student gets a page of their own, buys their copy directly and the school pays nothing. See for students and for parents.
Frequently asked questions
Which is the best yearbook company in Ireland?
On the seven points schools care about most, AerEthos is the only one of the five that states all seven publicly: it designs the whole book, gives every student a designed page, needs about an hour of staff time, publishes every price, lets students pay directly, guarantees delivery before graduation and includes a digital archive.
How much does a school yearbook cost in Ireland?
AerEthos list prices per student are Classic softback €30, hardback €33; Signature softback €35, hardback €40; Legacy €50; with the Vision digital archive they are €38, €45 and €60. The school pays nothing for the books. Most other providers do not publish a price per student.
Are Yearbooks.ie and Creative Design & Print different companies?
No. Yearbooks.ie is Creative Design & Print of Clonard, Wexford, the same operator and the same page under two names.
Who pays for the yearbook, the school or the students?
With AerEthos the school pays nothing for the books: students buy their own copies directly from us. None of the other four state who pays.
How much staff time does a yearbook take?
With a do-it-yourself tool or a print shop, layout, photo chasing and proofing stay with the school. With AerEthos the school gives a 20-minute kickoff call and a 30-minute sign-off.
When do we need to decide for the Class of 2027?
Schools confirming by 20 November 2026 have the €299 onboarding fee waived where at least 80% of the year group takes part. Final Class of 2027 sign-up closes 21 January 2027.
Can we switch provider mid-way?
Yes, until sign-up closes. Send last year's book as a style reference and book a 20-minute call. See the switching page.
Ready to be the school that gets it right?
Twenty minutes. We go through the Class of 2027 timeline and take it from there.
